is the trucking company's responsibility to get
it to you in good condition. It is the
customer's responsibility to be available at
time of delivery to check all quantities of
packages and inspect for damaged or missing
packages. If customer requests
incurs additional overtime, incurs a re-delivery
fee, or uses other optional service from
shipper, customer must contract these services
directly with shipper and pay driver at time of

insurance for damaged or shorted material while
in transit. Problems are rare, but if they do
occur, shortage or damage must be noted on the
bill of lading at the time of delivery.

freight claims as long as the bill of lading was
signed for at the time of delivery as being
damaged or short.

Sometimes an inspector will be sent out to see
the damage or to note a shortage.
If proper papers are not signed at the time of
delivery for any problems, it is the customer's
responsibility to seek reimbursement from the
trucking company for any damages or shortages.
We will assist you in any way we can to resolve
your problem if one does occur but it can be
very difficult to try to make claims when no
problems are noted at the time of delivery.
